Meeting room by the hour in Lisbon: what to check
Before booking a meeting room by the hour in Lisbon, check capacity, opening hours, equipment and what the price includes. An example in Marvila.

To choose a meeting room by the hour in Lisbon, check five things: how many people fit, when you can use it, what equipment it has, whether the price includes VAT, and how easy it is to get there. In Marvila, at WorkHub, a room for 8 people costs €20 an hour, VAT included, on weekdays from 9am to 6pm.
Capacity and layout
- Look at the real capacity, not the maximum. A room “for 8” with 8 people and laptops is tight.
- Ask how the table is set up: one table, or several that push together.
- For a call with two or three people, a phone booth may be enough and cost less.
Opening hours
- Check the room is free when you need it, including setting up and finishing.
- In our buildings, non-members book on weekdays from 9am to 6pm.
- Book half an hour more if you will set up a presentation or greet guests.
Equipment
- A screen and Wi-Fi are the minimum. Ask which cable or adaptor you need to bring.
- Test the connection before the meeting starts, if you can.
- See whether there is a whiteboard or room to spread out papers, if the meeting is a working session rather than a presentation.
What the price includes
- Ask whether the price includes VAT. Ours does: €20 an hour, what you see is what you pay.
- Ask about cleaning, reception or cancellation fees.
- If you will need the room every month, compare with a plan that includes room hours.
Getting there
Choose the room by the address your visitors will use. WorkHub has two: Matinha, on Praceta da Tabaqueira, and Prata, on Rua Fernando Palha in Braço de Prata. They are about 5 minutes on foot from each other, so a guest who goes to the wrong building has a short walk. On a visit we show you the rooms in both buildings so you can pick the one that suits you.
